Video 7B: Granuloma undergoing dissemination (days 6-8 PI)

To play the video, click on the graphic image above
Infected neutrophil facilitates dissemination. An infected neutrophil dies and leaves extracellular Mtb on the grid between days 7 to 8 PI. Shown are the 2D xy- locations of the simulated agents over time, from days 6 to 8 PI. Macrophages (green -- resting, orange -- infected, red -- chronically infected, blue -- activated), T cells (cantaloupe -- Tgam, maroon -- Tcyt, cyan -- Treg), extracellular Mtb (brown cross). Cells infected with Mtb are outlined in black. Caseum not shown.

Time-lapse videos corresponding to Figure 3 snapshots in main paper. These are 6 different simulations of granulomas including neutrophils and showing different outcomes. Click on the video link for more details for each. GranSim produces simulated granulomas that reflect granulomas in experimentally-infected macaques.
