Time-lapse simulation of a granuloma forming after infection with
Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The field simulates a 2 mm by 2 mm slice of
lung parenchyma where an infected macrophage cell initates the infection.
Recruited immune cells arrive via vascular sources distributed on the
parenchyma. The movie shows 200 days of infection dynamics. This
simulation represents a controlled infection where a stable granuloma
forms.
Flash time-lapse simulations are best played

Time-Lapse Simulations of TNF Deletion
Time-lapse simulation of a granuloma forming after infection with
Mycobacterium tuberculosis in the absence of tumor necrosis factor-α
(TNF). This simulation has identical conditions to the control simulation
(above), except that TNF is not produced by host immune cells.
